Service isn’t something Jesus did accidentally, and the same is true for us. Today, we’re going to study the value of service, as once again, we re-evaluate what evangelism actually looks like. We will then be challenged to take one more step of maturity on our journey to be more like Christ.
Some of us eat to live; some of us live to eat. This sermon is not going to question your motive for eating. Rather, this sermon will cause you to consider another purpose of eating altogether: outreach!
Most of us here today want to be heard. We want people to understand us. However, few of us prioritize listening over speaking (myself included). Today’s sermon will teach us why listening is important and challenge us so that we can say, “Yes!” when others ask, “Can you hear me now?”

Becoming a church that makes a difference in its community does not just happen; it takes intentional obedience and action from the individuals in the congregation. Today, we’re going to review our mission and gain insight into how we can become an outward-growing church.
Becoming a maturing follower of Jesus Christ does not happen accidentally! It takes intentional sacrifice and intentional obedience for us to become more like Christ. Today, we will consider our purpose as Christ-followers and be challenged to live as if we, individually, want to be mature followers of Jesus Christ.
